The Kindergarten-ers got to go to the COW FARM and learn what cows eat (a magnet, cotton seed...you name it!), how much they weigh (1500 pds), how much milk they make (8 gal per day), how big their shots are (gigantic!), how often they bathe them (2ce a day)...we even saw a 2 hour old calf stand up for the first time! We love our teacher Ms Dillon (on the right) It was so special!

I am having so much fun with my little Jackson you would think that he was my first and only child...well, to be fair I should say that we ALL are having so much fun with Jack-et. He is always so happy and animated. This little chunk of animation has captured the hearts of his three big brothers so fully that I find myself marveling that the bond between my four boys is so strong so young. What a miracle Heavenly Father has blessed mothers to be witness to. I count my blessings every day.

Just Hangin'
Jack cut his 3rd tooth that night...notice the relentless biting in almost every picture we have of him this last month!
We hung out with best friends we've knows since we were 18 months old

And we built a house with kindling!
On a nice long walk Daddy, Jackson, Seth and Clyde gathered wood for our fire. We ended up with A LOT of dry branches that we brought to our campsite whole. Monte Birk decided that these were needed as a “house” so we stacked them up as four walls, one with a door opening of course, and put the kids table and chairs inside. It became a gathering place for the ward kids to come and play card games with us. We had quite a few stirring games of ‘war’ with the face cards. Mommy can get pretty rambunctious when the competition is on!
