Blessing William

We had an AMaZiNg Sunday this last week. Monte blessed our sweet William Harrison Gardiner in Sacrament meeting.

I found myself wondering just yesterday, "When did this become my life?" What a WonDeRfUl life it is!Monte was a little nervous for the blessing. We realised that this is just the 2nd blessing he's given to one of our babies in church. Seth and Clyde were blessed with family in my mothers room and Jackson was blessed in our old home with family. it was a beautiful blessing. My husband is very gifted with words. I felt beautiful in my new outfit. My mother taught me many things about motherhood. Some important and little known advice is that for each new baby you get to go out and buy 1 new outfit. You do not, under ANY circumstances look at the size of the dress items you are purchasing and you say a little prayer before you leave for the store that you will find the items you are looking for quickly. (Before you get frustrated with your new post baby body)

We had worked hard all weekend getting the house and yard ready for the Arnett clan to descend on us. The brethren were more than a little excited for the party that was to come.

Jackson loves "his baby" The Arnett Clan - Dad (w/ friends Debbie and grandson) Bill Arnett Family=7 Robert Arnett Family=7 David Arnett Family+8 Scott Cole Family=8 Monte Gardiner Family=7 Stephen Arnett Family=3 We had seating for everyone in our great room area once we moved out a couch.After we had consumed 6 fryer chickens, 15 pds of mashed potatoes, 13 cups of gravy, 7 dozen rolls, and 3 huge salads (not including the leftovers) Uncles could be found asleep on various couches around the house, the guitar came out, the women and cousins chatted, and the computer even surfaced for a few moments. William was named after my father. It was a big decision to name him this because my father already has a William named after him-2 in fact! The song that the brethren sing to their baby brother goes as follows...sorry that you can't hear the tune:
